Before you write
01Do I need a technical specification before getting in touch?
No. A description of the problem in plain language is enough. If a specification already exists we are happy to read it, but the first conversation is usually about the workflow rather than the technology.
02What happens after I send an enquiry?
We read it, and reply by email with questions or an initial view of how we would approach the work. If it looks like a fit, the next step is a consultation call to go through the process, constraints, and options in more detail.
03Can you work on an existing system rather than build something new?
Yes. A good deal of the work is connecting, extending, or automating around systems that already exist. Replacing something that works is rarely the first recommendation.
04What if AI is not the right answer for my problem?
Then we will say so. AI is worth adding when it improves a real process. Where conventional software, an integration, or a change to the process itself is the better answer, that is what we will recommend.
